DCPA Building Project

Our vision is of a world in which no person, especially a young person, should ever be pressurised to take alcohol or illegal drugs.

Help us make this vision a reality.

We have now identified a building in Belfast city centre, to use as a centre which would specialise in preventing alcohol and drug abuse. Working in partnership with Youthcom, the Down & Connor Diocesan Youth Commission, we have begun working in premises in Berry Street.

Already young people and adults are working together to provide a range of spiritual, social, educational and sporting activities as positive alternatives to alcohol and drug abuse. This centre is also offering counselling for anyone with an alcohol or drug dependency or with issues of low self-esteem. For more information see links to the Friday night club.

We need financial assistance to purchase the premises, and to refurbish various parts of the interior so that it can be more fully and effectively used.

Thank you.
