Our Services

Members range in age from 9 years upwards coming from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds. At present our areas of operation are:

	Young people
	Education
	Support

The vast majority of the Young people, Education and Support work takes place in late primary and early post-primary years across Down and Connor. At present members of the Executive Committee are working on an educational resource that can be used in primary schools with both P7 pupils and their parents. The resource will explore the attitudes, choices and responsibilities of parents and children to alcohol. It is planned to begin piloting the resource in mid-February 2003.

Our Support and Personal Development work centres in the areas of Membership Services, Social Events, Faith Development, and Creative and Expressive Activities. These include the organisation of football teams in the Down and Connor league and a Friday night club for teenagers.
